BOTANICAL NAME: Cocos nucifera

As its name indicates, Fractionated Coconut Oil is a split of the coconut oil from which nearly all long triglycerides of the long chain have been removed, thus primarily leaving the triglycerides of the middle chain and making It is a completely saturated oil. Also, fractionation triggers the concentration of caprylic acid and capric acid, thus giving it more antioxidants and disinfecting effects.

MCT oil is produced by extracting and isolating the fatty acids from coconut oil, resulting in a final product that is comprised almost entirely of either caprylic or capric acid.

Unlike solid coconut oil, fractionated coconut oil is colorless and odorless. It is an oil with a dry touch that does not leave a greasy film on the skin. It does not freeze and remains liquid.
